KELATY HOUSE

Kelaty House is a 300-bed apart-hotel for Citadines and 699-bed student accommodation across 5 buildings ranging in height from 4 to 13 storeys as part of the Wembley Park regeneration area. This development also includes basement parking and associated open green space faced with ‘super graphic motif’ aluminium façade.

Asif’s (Planner) role at Kelaty House was to provide extensive planning and reporting services as part of the team at Watkins Jones. He was responsible for working closely in conjunction with the Project Management Team and Contractors/Subcontractors to develop and change both the Contract Construction programme on a regular basis and provided monthly progress reports and time slices which were reported back to the Project Management team and client to ensure a smooth and successful progression to practical completion.

During this project there was the significant challenge of Covid-19 and its accompanying Government restrictions, however, Asif had overcome all obstacles to ensure the same level of services were provided despite the negative implications, especially with delays seen as a consequence of Covid-19.
